"It folded the laundry"
Came inside to find one (1) Pantry Gool sitting on top of the dryer.
All my socks were paired. There were thirteen socks. I have never had
thirteen socks in my life. It tipped its hat (it had a hat) and left.

Possible Library Gool, ref. desk
Asked the reference librarian about a 1987 paper on freshwater algae.
She said one moment. From under the desk came a very small green hand
holding a stapled photocopy. The librarian said "thanks, Doris."
Doris is allegedly the gool.

Telephone Gool, modem hum
Plugged in an old USR Sportster I had in the attic. It started humming
at 2,400 baud despite being unconnected. Saw a small green silhouette
pulse with the LED. Disconnected. Hum continued for 90 seconds.
I am leaving the modem out as an offering.

Bog Gool? — claim of precognition
Drained the tub and found a small wet creature on the rim. It said,
very quietly, "your aunt will call on Thursday." My aunt called on
Thursday. She always calls on Thursday. Inconclusive.

Static Gool — name was uttered
Was rebooting the office switch at 3:14 a.m. The fan noise modulated
and clearly said "Henry." Three of us are named Henry. None of us
were the right Henry. We have left the room.

Footnote Gool sighting
I was reading "A Cultural History of the Margin" (Kessler, 2009) and
footnote 14 had an extra "²" that wasn't supposed to be there. By the
time I got to the bibliography it was gone. The footnote also was
warmer to the touch. I am being followed by a Footnote Gool.
How to Submit a Sighting

handwritten letter (preferred)

shouting into a hollow log (untested)
Please include date, location, species (if known), and one (1) detail
